															A professional who deploys and retrieves radon detectors and provides a report of the associated measurement results which are generated by a Radon Analytical Laboratory.
Course Objective: Individuals holding the C-NRPP Radon Measurement Professional certification should demonstrate understanding of radon, its scientific properties and known health effects; current statistics of Canadian radon exposures; knowledge of Health Canada’s radon measurement protocols including placement and retrieval of radon measurement devices; understanding of C-NRPP approved devices; knowledge of the proper interpretation of results obtained in residential settings and some basic radon entry and mitigation concepts.
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
A professional who interprets radon test results, and determines the most effective way to reduce radon concentrations within buildings. This could include the requirement of further diagnostic testing, the design and/or installation of radon mitigation systems.
Course Objective: Individuals holding the residential mitigation professional certification have demonstrated knowledge of radon mitigation techniques as applied to residential structures, including diagnostic testing and the design and installation of radon mitigation systems.
A professional who specifies, adapts, implements, configures, installs, inspects and maintains radon rough-in systems, including active-ready and passive systems without fans, that meet the performance and reliability needs of homeowners in Canada by incorporating quality craftsmanship and complying with all applicable codes, standards and safety requirements.
A laboratory/organization that analyzes radon detection devices.
