C-NRPP certified professionals are to reflect high standards and ethics in their work, and comply with recognized standards of practice to protect public health and safety, they are required to take certification courses and pass a set of exams in order to qualify for certification. To maintain their certification they need to obtain Professional Practice Credits.
Anyone who is interested in providing entry-level certification courses must first be certified in the area that they are training. The next step would be to develop a course based on C-NRPPs course criteria and then have the course approved by C-NRPP.
Interested in providing continued education opportunities to help develop excellence in the industry? To develop a continuing education course you need to have expertise or experience in the topic area. We recommend that continuing education courses be 1 to 2 hours per course. Once you have a course developed you can submit it to C-NRPP for review and approval as a Continuing Education Course.
