Proper labeling on radon systems is an important aspect for current and future homeowners. C-NRPP has developed labels in accordance with the CGSB (Canadian General Standards Board) standards which can be found here.
C-NRPP recommends using bilingual labels, in accordance with the recommendations of the standard. Due to the size of the label and volume of text, two labels are required to meet this.
The information below links to pdfs of each label. Radon professionals, building inspectors, builders are free to download and use the pdfs to print their own labels. The labels can also be ordered through C-NRPP. The labels are currently free for C-NRPP Professionals and Building Officials (shipping charge only).
NOTE: labels available for a charge, or you can use the wording to design your own labels.
We recommend that you order both English and French labels.

Quality controls must be in place to ensure that radon testing devices are functioning correctly. This will help to increase the public’s confidence in the radon industry, and ensure that public health is protected by ensuring that buildings with elevated radon levels can be accurately identified, and verification tests for radon mitigation systems are consistent in measuring their effectiveness.

A C-NRPP Analytical laboratory or a C-NRPP Measurement professional can use an Accredited Independent Chamber for their initial Performance Test and for their quality control spike tests.
C-NRPP has an agreement with AARST-NRPP to approve radon chambers. To become certified as a performance test chamber, a firm must submit an application and complete the process with AARST-NRPP to become an accredited independent chamber.
